On September 9, the ACT for Anaphylaxis Alliance was officially launched at the European Parliament, where it unveiled the first European Best Practice Index and an eight-point Call to Action to strengthen preparedness for severe allergic reactions across Europe.
The Index highlights significant differences in preparedness across countries, while identifying opportunities and examples of good practice that can help improve response, access to emergency treatment and training.
As a supporting partner of the Alliance, we are proud to contribute to this multi-stakeholder effort, bringing together patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, policymakers, advocacy organisations and industry partners around a shared ambition: advancing Access, Care and Training for people at risk of anaphylaxis across Europe.
