Athena joined Viatris in January 2025 as EU Policy Officer. In her current role, Athena supports the work of Brussels Policy Office in policy assessment, advocacy, and communications. Prior to joining Viatris, Athena gained three years of consulting experience at two Brussels-based EU Public affairs advisory firms, where she advised clients in the technology and pharmaceutical sectors on a broad range of policy areas, including digital, healthcare, trade, and environmental policy. She also contributed to tech innovation policy projects within the World Economic Forum Asia-Pacific regional platforms and chambers of commerce, further deepening her interest in geopolitics and international relations.
Athena holds a BA in English Literature and Language Studies, and a Master’s degree in European Studies from KU Leuven. She speaks English, Mandarin Chinese, French, and basic Dutch.
